Wyborg is a site-specific work with a life span of 6 months, the duration of the Destination exhibition at the Malva museum in Lahti. This new large-scale work was commissioned for this exhibition. It tells about leaving home and paints a picture of multicultural Vyborg, from where refugees left during the Second World War. I have taken influences and interpreted in the work some of the collection pieces that came to Malva's collections from Vyborg during the war.
