The old theater of Lappeenranta was given for artists in 2015 before it was sentenced to demolition later in 2017. The place offered 5000m2 of space for artistic use, so that was also the name of the exhibition. I was one of the many artists who participated in this "take over", painting my own part in January 2016 on the acoustic panels of the back walls of the largest auditorium. My section was done in co-operation with Saija Salonen, who shot the whole process and created a video about it, which was presented during the opening hours of the exhibition. Now the video is also viewable at YouTube, link here: LPR5000m2-video.
