Life is a game that is sometimes hard to play; there may not be enough game pieces, or if there are, they don’t quite fit your hand. The opponent may be stronger, and then your own wings no longer carry you — you surrender, you fall into despair. But even the damaged can heal and become whole again, like a tree growing in dry and unyielding soil. Wounded wings can still radiate gold, when the heart is pure, open, and forgiving.
