Site-specific installation with mirror rests collected from the glass factories in Murano. The thousands of small, recycled mirror fragments in different forms are placed carefully on the colourful patterns of the mosaic floor comprising 14 square meters. They multiply the daylight and the architecture with angels on the ceiling of the intimate pink coloured boudoir room in Palazzo Loredan. The boudoir rooms were used as saloons for washing and beautifying – restricted only for women in the baroque period of time. Palazzo Loredan purchasedby Loredan 1536, was renovated with shapes and characters from Renaissance by Antonio Scarpagnino.

The installation pays homage to the architecture highlighting our natural desire to glorify the beauty in material and spiritual spheres. The visitors experience the Room of Angels from the door opening without entering inside. They can take a glimpse to the reality beyond their senses, where they do see themselves reflected on the mirrors and meeting with the angels.

The existence of angels can be investigated by scientists. Light and angels are part of the good creation. The mirrors reveal one part of the invisible reality. Similarly, the task of an artist and a scientist is to investigate and reveal realities, which are not discovered yet.
