The work describes a longing for the sea - the clarity and purity of thoughts brought by the sea. That feeling when you look at the horizon of the sea, the waves are lapping and the sun is glistening on the surface of the water. The color turquoise is often associated with the sea. Turquoise communicates purity and freshness. Turquoise shades are associated with development and change; in the inner teacher. It is said to increase self-confidence.
The work is painted on canvas with acrylic paints and markers with added details. A lattice supports the wedges at the back. The edges are unpainted. The work is ready to hang, there is iron wire and eye screws on the back.
The signature is on the front and back of the piece.
