Part of a whole 'Something is missing, lacking'

What drives me forward in my art is the curiosity to explore different possibilities of working with fabric. I experiment and search for solutions. I create spaces from finished pieces where light is an important element. The possibilities of fabric lie in its malleability and translucency.

I try to keep a touch of the almost lost in my work. There is the fragility of everything, the lost past in this moment. Bed sheets left behind by people serve as a mediator for the meeting of time, place, and humanity. The starting point for the imagery in my works is the lace decorations of old sheets. My work is at the same time a glance back and the processing of the present moment.
