My content of my art and my methods
My works are multilayered stories of life, filled with symbolism and hidden messages. The central symbols include journey, nature and water. I admire the diversity of the nature. At best, the works of an artist can reach only a pale glimpse of wondrous creation that is the nature. And we are even more lost when it comes to the depths of the human mind and the unseen reality. These are mental building bloks of my creation process when I use the various forms of the intaglio to construct pictures. I use various methods in a single work, including, e.g. the line etching, the soht-ground etching, the aquatint, the polymer Graphics, the copy-ethcing, the carborundum, and the chine collee, as required to catch the visual image that I am after. At the same time, my work process is a controlled walk in the stream of consciousness.
