Lasten muotokuvat ovat kiinnostava taiteen kohde, sillä nuori muuttuu nopeasti. Taiteilijana teokseen on hienoa pysäyttää nuoren senhetkinen persoona, muistoksi lapselle aikuistuttuaan ja yleensä myös koko perheelle. Lapsen luonne on hyvällä tavalla aina yksilöllinen jo pienestä, vaikka muutosta elämä aina tuo.
