RE-VERB is built from the breathing and whispered singing of the Sawotta Choir. Each singer was recorded with an individual microphone, and the voices were placed in separate loudspeakers.
At KITA, the loudspeakers formed a spiral. The Aine Art Museum version also included improvised solos and a water resonator that made sound vibrations visible on its surface.
Exhibitions: KITA, Joutsa, 28 June–31 August 2025; Aine Art Museum, Tornio, 22 August–16 November 2025.
The Aine Art Museum version is held in the museum’s collection.
Concept and spatial design: Jaakko Autio. Score and saxophone: Anna Voutilainen-Veijonen. Choir: Sawotta. Improvised vocal solos: Kasper Omenasaari and Reetta Karhunen.
